Making the Cut: Choosing the Style of Engagement Ring That Fits Your Personality

There are countless engagement ring styles out there, so we at Diana Jewelers of Liverpool, NY have broken down the basics to help you make the perfect selection!


If your fiancée prefers something a bit more unique, the oval-shaped Marquise cut, ending in points at the top and bottom of the diamond, is right for her. If she'd like an oval shape with more rounded edges, then the Cushion cut (sometimes called the Pillow Cut) is more ideal.

Rose and White Gold Diamond Ring

I have been so excited to show you this final recreated piece. And, this lady is truly as lovely as her new ring. She brought in a ring, a pair of channel set diamond earrings and two diamond pendants. Her request was something on the wider side, but also delicate. Together with some "visual aids" we took the journey from a quick sketch and the final computer rendering to the gorgeous result. She simply imagined the possibilities.
