Employee Spotlight: Terri Guinta
In the next part of our story, you'll meet the employees at Diana's beginning with Terri who has been working with us for 37 years. There are no words to describer her part in the fabric of our business. Her work ethic is amazing, her integrity unmatched and her ability to adjust her job to the changes in business incredible. She is our manager, and I am proud to say, my "adopted" sister.

I am so blessed to have her in my life and as part of the Diana's story. These are her words:

What do you like best about your job?
Employee Spotlight: Terri Guinta TerriGuita-2I'd say it is all the great friends I've made through the 37 years. My fellow employees became my sisters and my nephew continued to be my nephew. We've all had our ups and downs throughout the years, and we've all bee there for each other. I couldn't ask for a better, more thoughtful boss than Betsy; she has helped me out in more ways than I could ever begin to tell you and has become a very special part of my life. As for my job, per say, I love the thoughtfulness of people buying gifts for someone special because they put so much time into their gift, and to me that means the world. I love the book-keeping end of my job as numbers and I get along fairly well, and it gives my brain a chance to keep active.

What is your favorite memory?
This is a little tough because of being here for so long, and I have a lot of great memories. What I remember best are the great dinner parties Mr. and Mrs. Palladino hosted throughout the years. After our busy Christmas season we'd all go to their house and have a great (I mean great) dinner. Mrs. P is the best cook in my eyes; We had great company and lots of laughs. In the summer, they would host picnics in their backyard with the employees, spouses and children. We'd play bocce ball and badminton, eat, drink and have a great time socializing. (My favorite is her cheese fondue; I could never get enough.) It always seemed to be around my birthday and Mrs. P would always have a cake and gift for me. I have been extremely lucky to have the most wonderful people to work for throughout the years. They are truly "my second family."
